Inletkeeper is unique because we see and understand and work to address the root causes of the inequities that are knee-capping our democracy. We know the wealthy elites who founded our nation built-in systems (the electoral college, the US Senate, etc) to favor minority rule, and through gerrymandering, voter suppression, economic racism and countless other ways, a small minority now governs how we live, work and play.
In response, we are:
- Using science to push back on a world increasingly filled with fiction
- Calling out corporations that take more than their fair share
- Holding our government officials accountable for our public lands and waters
- Creating local climate solutions
